The first @miamirb of the year is upon us.

As most of us know already, Chris is moving to Cali. We are sad to see him go, but at the same time we are happy for him because we know good things will come out of this. I want to thank (you) Chris personally for all the advice, inspiration and hard work you've put into the group over the years. I see you as a mentor and role model. I am sure all the group feel the same way.

We'll have two special guests joining us.

@cory_foy is in ft.lauderdale for the next 2.5 weeks. He is the guy behind the Tampa and Orlando day of ruby, Agile coach, Community Liaison for Scrum Alliance and a great guy overall. I meet him during the Orlando Day of Ruby and got to learn a couple of tricks from him.

Tom Ryan is the guy behind workbeast.com. He'll be sponsoring this meeting and the best of all he is looking for programmers to work in his company. If you are looking for a job, don't miss this. The best of all is that he's been working with Hashrocket and the lucky guy joining his team will be working with them too. Great opportunity.

Bring your laptops. We are going to be pairing up and doing some katas. We can do prime factors, LED numbers or any other.
